Checking in...

Hey fellow yarn lovers! I just wanted to drop a few lines and talk about what I've been up to lately.....

I’ve been planning new color combinations for my blankets. I’m currently working on a couple of scarf sets for the daughters of a friend of mine. As soon as I’m done I’ll be posting pictures of the sets of course. The girls are anxious to model them for the camera. They are little fashionistas I swear.

However in the meantime, I recently acquired a new addiction. It’s called www.pinterest.com. I can’t get enough of that place. It’s given me a lot of inspiration to venture out beyond the usual blankets, hats and scarves. You guys might see some sewing projects posted on here too. I’ve also found so many recipes to cook I’m going to end up fat unless I find my way to the gym in between eating and crocheting.

That's all for now. I'll be back soon.

Welcome to My Yarn Addiction Attic....

Ok so last year I decided to blog...let's just say it didn't go so well. New baby equaled no time....

Family Pic 2011

Malaia is now 1...yaaayyyy!!! The loving husband has been deployed since Dec. Praying everyday for him to make it back home. This has been a trying year due to losing a mother I was so happy to gain. I just recently moved into a much larger and way nicer place. Post housing is getting its much needed upgrade. I'm just glad I'm able to enjoy it. This new place is a palace compared to the old townhome. I now have the room to create some wonderful works.

My world evolves around cloth diapering, crocheting, cooking and crafting. These are things I am quite passionate about. So as my mother in law would say "Hold your mule!", and enjoy the ride.

I'm still a newbie at blogging. So to all of the pro bloggers out there, please send any advice you have my way.
